AI, thank you, again.

I read recently that they have an AI model that can predict cancer outcomes.

It gets its data from; wait for it; face age.

Given mammoth amounts of data, AI figures out that the older you look, the sooner you are going to die.

In this case, from cancer; but really; anything.

Somehow this gave me a real boost, as I look way younger than anyone else my age. In fact; on the way to one of my kid's school shows today I bumped into someone.

I had to cut the meeting short; the long-time-no-see; and so on, as I was already timing to the minute.

He looked older than me. Not by a year or two but a whole decade.

And he is exactly a decade and a half younger than me. Do the math.

Most AI output is shit. But if you can learn to ask the right questions, you can get data that works.

Young-Looking == Don't-worry-about-Cancer (note use of big "C").
