What I like about plants..
Plants always do their best. It's a continual inspiration to me; whenever I see a plant; especially those plants clinging to the sides of chimneys and such, surviving regardless.
If you care for a plant and it fucks up, it's your fault; not the plant's. Plants always do their best, whatever happens.
You put it in the wrong place, or in the wrong soil, fed it wrong, watered it wrong, killed all the wasps; something. And 100%, something you did. Not the plant; which is always doing its best, nomatter what. Every plant, everywhere on the entire planet, without fail. Plants never say, "Nah, I can't be fucked today". 24/7 it is up-and-at-em.
The pure, unadulterated natural aggression that pushes a tiny wind-blown seed to sprout a three meter bush out the side of a chimney stack, and then keeps on giving, 100% right up until the very end, when the very last resources and possibilities are completely and utterly utilized; sacrificing itself for another generation.
How can that not be inspiring?
