Instructions..

The applet supports 1-player and 2-player mode, and also 0-player (computer vs. computer, which is crazy to watch).

Move a piece by clicking on it. It will be backlit in orange, and then click on the target square. If there is a forced capture elsewhere, the piece will be backlit in blue.

I found this nosing about amongst the code at the old MIT ai (artificial intelligence) FTP server. enjoy!

If you have any problems with it. let me know; recent versions of Java seem to wonk it up on my system. Bummer.
