in his own words..

I got a chipset cooling kit from PCworld for £3 and cut up some heatsinks from that. Previously I had cut up an old 486 heatsink, but it was a little too tall.

The small hacksaw used was from a pound shop (cheap! -ed), and I doubt it would be much use for cutting anything but aluminum.

I used some heat conductive epoxy (arctic silver) but the thermal double sided tape in the heatsink kit would be fine if you don't have anything else.
