You need ffmpeg installed to use ffe and ffe needs to know where ffmpeg lives. It's easiest to keep them all in the same directory. 1. In your browser, go here: [note: these sites have nothing to do with me] https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/ or here.. https://github.com/BtbN/FFmpeg-Builds/releases Download the latest release. 2. In Explorer, unzip* the contents of the archive to a folder somewhere inside your program files, e.g.. C:\Program Files\corz\ffe\ You should now have some files in that folder, mainly.. ffmpeg.exe ffplay.exe ffprobe.exe If you already have an ffe directory, simply open the ffmpeg archive and drag all the files into your ffe folder. 3. Drop ffe.exe into the same folder, next to these files**, if it isn't there already. You are good to go. 4. Launch ffe.exe For more details about ffe usage, see the ffe page.. http://corz.org/windows/software/ffe/ Have fun! ;o) ffe at corz dot org * If you need an zip program, go here: http://www.7-zip.org/ ** You can keep them in different directories, no problem; ffe will ask you to locate your ffmpeg binary before you begin working. You can also drag an ffmpeg binary directly onto ffe's drop window to instantly set a new binary location.
