The variable has been lost somewhere
in the global scope, it means
nothing, has no value, and will not be debugged. 
It's not there.

I run the code a thousand times
and run it again. Undo my way
to a blank page, and swear.
It really doesn't exist in any form.

And all the white space and all
the code between where I declare,
and check, deleted, until the two lines lie
like spoons. Nope. Nothing.
