to do..
Well, I might.
Feel free to "persuade" me!
known bugs:
(delete when fixed)
Mac:
functional:
cosmetics:
Closing log box drawer makes main window susceptible to weirdness, specifically
if you drag the window off the bottom of the screen it will resize to very
tall, resulting in you having to trash/edit your prefs. This looks like an RB bug. Some
other metal window drawing weirdness is also prevented by keeping the log box open at all
times (who wouldn't anyway!)
Windows:
functional:
cosmetics:
log box doesn't remember its size and position properly between launches.
cpu is still too high out of all loop. hmm.
Linux:
erm, I don't use a gui on my Linux box, anyone want to test this out?
gimme a screenshot too!
All:
functional:
buddy needs to be in your buddylist before you can accept files from them, even if you
click "yes" when asked if you wish to receive files. I could call this a "security
feature".
cosmetics:
Sending files over 50MB causes the progress bar to act curiously, it flips over to
minus percentages, which, of course, isn't possible. The transfer is unnaffected.
the±wire wasn't designed for sending big files, and although it can do it, and do it
well, I'm in no hurry to fix this.
to do.. (possibly)
(delete when done)
"invert selection"
listen only for a particular IP (and/or nick), rejecting all others.. *exclusive mode*
maybe even password authentication (only get to wire you if they pass)
a ban-list
transfer clipboard send clips from the dns window, even dragged image selections
and way in the future, perhaps image annotation. could transmit only the
annotations as vector data across the±wire.
"notes" mode. -> you can use it to just make text, edit logbox lines, reorder and
produce clippings, whatever. no need to connect first
unlikely..
speakable chat (and what of speech recognition? would be hilarious!)
all bribes accepted!
syat!
