LinkFixer
The shortcut's target CAN be found!

LinkFixer is a small, free, simple Windows accessory which does search and replace text inside Windows shortcuts, aka. ".lnk" files. If you move some files, folders, or even a whole drive (perhaps to a new drive letter), LinkFixer can correct the internal path, so that the shortcut works again.

What makes LinkFixer especially useful, is its ability to apply these changes recursively through a directory tree, fixing the broken paths of every shortcut inside a single folder, or even your entire system, with just one click.

A regular windows folder. For most file types, this if perfectly fine.

A cute Clipbard icon designed specifically for Clipboard As Name. It took a lot longer to make than the program.

Another of AutoHotKey's tragically poor icons

Have fun!
