    the±wire version notes (beta)..


    Windows users: IMPORTANT:   Run the+wire in Win98/ME compatability mode, 
                                or else it may hang your system. What can I
                                say; I wrote it when I was running a mac!


    IMPORTANT:  On all platforms except OS X:
    ------------------------------------------- 
    You MUST run the±wire at least once in the same folder as the two files
    "wiredefault.plist" and "wirebuddies.plist". it will use these to create
    default preference (app preferences) and buddylist (personal prefs)
    files in your preferences folder. here..

    Mac OS X:    ~/Library/Preferences   (~/ is you home folder)
    Linux:        /home/<username>/.corz
    Windows XP:    C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\corz
    Mac Classic:     system volume:System Folder:Preferences:corz
    Windows 9*:    C:\Windows\Application Data\corz   (probably)

    It's an Apple plist, an xml-based, plain text file you can hack easily 
    enough with a text editor.

    Thanks for downloading the±wire, the communication device for two
    humans, you and someone else (I'm working on cute tag-lines, erm..).
    Please test this release as fully as possible and report any problems
