Take control of what goes in!

As I like to say, "You choose your food, then you chews your food!". For most folk, that's the sum total of their control over the entire nutritional process. And of course, sadly, most begin with appaling food choices, and end with wolfing it down with minimal mastication.

And then their bodies start to break down and they run to the doctor shouting "Fix me!", and the doctor says take this pill, which they do, and it hides some symtoms, creates some others, and so they get another pill, and so on.. Misguided magic bullets slowly shattering their once-healthly body to pieces.

There is a better way. Maybe I'm a control freak, but I like to be in charge of as much of the process as possible, creating the basic ingredients used to prepare meals, as far back along the chain as possble.

We don't have a cow, but I can get organic milk at a fair price. From that I can easily make yogurt and Kefir, and from that, quick-and-simple-yet-amazing soft cheeses, smoothies, you name it! Sadly, organic food is still way too rare ond expensive. I mean seriously, my local supermarket has one organic loaf in its vast, vast selection. One! However, they have a half dozen types of organic flour. Aha!
